Class Information
All of our exciting and high energy programs are specifically designed by American Heritage Goju Karate-Do for students ages 6 through adult. Students will develop a stronger and healthier body, mind and spirit with our effective exercise routine. All classes are held Monday and Wednesday evenings. Enrollment registration forms requires the proper ID#.

Uniforms
It is required that all students wear the American Heritage Goju Karate-Do uniform to class (this includes a Black uniform and organizational patch and belt).
Students wear a uniform in class so that they become more equal in appearance. This serves as an important component in class identity. Students have a sense of pride in the style of the Martial Art they are studying. In addition, the uniform is also used as a training aid, in that, it allows the body to flow freely and is designed to be used in grabbing, pushing and pulling methods of training.
The full uniform is required from October 1st—April 30th Official Dojo T-Shirts may be worn to replace Gi top from May 1st—September 30th
Uniforms will be ordered at the first class. Students should wear sweatpants or shorts and a t-shirt until they receive their uniform. It is recommended that uniform be washed, hemmed (if needed) and the patch sewn on prior to wearing it to class.

- 10% discount off the registration fee for the 2nd family member registered in one of our programs.
- 15% discount off the registration fee for the 3rd and any additional family members registered in one of our programs.

Your introduction to Martial Arts will be an exciting, rewarding and positive experience. American Heritage Goju Karate-Do, with roots from China, Okinawa, Japan and America focuses on health and fitness for complete wellness, with non-violent and peaceful alternatives to conflict, learning respect for one’s self and others, self confidence, discipline and control. A positive attitude towards achievement and excellence are just two of our many goals.
The goal of our program is to have students grow as individuals, feel good about themselves and to continually strive to develop a positive image at school, work and home. This enables them to be successful in life. Enrolling in our community pro-gram is different from other Martial Arts schools because we encourage you to participate in every class. You are always working with someone, either a partner or in a group. Lastly, we care about your overall health and growth. At any age, our training will work for you. If you have any question pertain-ing to your training, please feel free to speak with one of our very qualified male or female instructors either before or after any class.
