I’m skipping forward a bit to a very important “Newsletter from Friday 9 May 2003”.
First, the artist who drew this portrait of Sensei Urban did an awesome job!!!

The best part of this letter really tells you how Sensei felt about all Three of his teachers and mentors and also how he felt about his life as a Martial Artist.
This is only the first page. We will publish the rest ( all Four pages) of this newsletter when we get to that juncture. They too will tell you how much of a straight
Shooter Sensei Urban was. He never pulled punches!

THE BEGINNING!

Please read through the entire newsletter. It says so much to all of us as all of them do in his (Sensei Urban’s) own way. He constantly spoke of unity and it was so simple, but most couldn’t get their head out of their ass long enough to listen. Their ego I’m afraid killed their logic. And so it goes!!!
That’s why “Today Is Now”. If you want to blame everyone else for the reason USA GOJU is not as organized as it could or should be, just take the time and have a look in the mirror.
“2018” could and should be the year where there is Respect, forgiveness, tolerance and love for one another. A time to open your arms to your brothers and sisters from all 6 Generations. Let’ see what we can make happen together in 2018.

2017 is here! To all of the USA GOJU family from the American Heritage DoJo we wish you many years of Health, Happiness and Prosperity.

Our Training is not just an activity. It is a life long progressive way of life that we use to keep ourselves healthy, crystal clear, productive, progressive and safe. The Mind, Body, Spirit connection is real. From the very young to the very old, there is something in our training that we can do and use from our youth to the end stages of our lives. With the exception of fighting, which causes injury; all of the other aspects of our training are very healthy and can be used to keep us agile and strong for many years. Think about our exercise and stretching program that we follow. It makes our muscles strong which keeps our joints strong which gives us the ability to be very mobile into are older years. It also enhances our blood flow, which is very healthy for our brain that allows us to be alert and focused. That is extremely important, not only for adults, but extremely important for the growth of our “Children” both academically and physically. It guards against adolescent and adult diabetes as well as heart disease, and a multitude of illnesses. Meditation, Breathing Techniques and “Skeletal Relaxation with Visualization” is and should be a daily practice for both young and old to relieve the stress and depressive states of mind that come from our work and our everyday surrounding.

Remember!!!
Necessity is the mother of invention!!! The challenge is how to get the youth, teens and adults of today to realize the importance of mental and physical health for their future growth and being!!!

2017 è qui! Per tutta la famiglia USA GOJU dalla American Heritage Dojo vi auguriamo molti anni di salute, felicità e prosperità.

La nostra formazione non è solo un’attività. Si tratta di una vita lunga modo progressivo della vita che usiamo per tenerci in buona salute, cristallino, produttivo, progressiva e sicura. La mente, corpo, spirito di connessione è reale. Dal giovanissimi agli anziani, c’è qualcosa nella nostra formazione che possiamo fare e utilizzare dalla nostra giovinezza alle fasi finali della nostra vita. Con l’eccezione di combattimento, che provoca lesioni; tutti gli altri aspetti della nostra formazione sono molto sano e può essere utilizzato per mantenere noi agile e forte per molti anni. Pensare il nostro esercizio e stretching programma che seguiamo. Esso rende i nostri muscoli forti che mantiene le nostre articolazioni forte che ci dà la capacità di essere in molto mobili sono anni più vecchio. E migliora anche il nostro flusso di sangue, che è molto salutare per il nostro cervello che ci permette di essere attenti e concentrati. Questo è estremamente importante, non solo per gli adulti, ma estremamente importante per la crescita dei nostri “Bambini” sia accademico che fisicamente. Si difende adolescente e il diabete adulto, così come le malattie cardiache, e una moltitudine di malattie. La meditazione, tecniche di respirazione e di “relax scheletrico con visualizzazione” è e deve essere una pratica quotidiana per giovani e meno giovani per alleviare lo stress e gli stati depressivi di mente che provengono dal nostro lavoro e la nostra quotidiana circostante.

Ricorda!!!
La necessità è la madre dell’invenzione!!! La sfida è come ottenere i giovani, ragazzi e adulti di oggi a capire l’importanza della salute mentale e fisica per la loro crescita futura e di essere !!!
