He was with the 3rd Battalion 6th Marines, 2nd Marine division. H&S Company Scout Sniper Platoon. Know that we are all grateful for your service and sacrifice!
Vincent Mathews above in 1967, and to the left today. Today Vincent is an advocate for all veterans who need assistance for benefits and other needs.
He is a hero to many and has dedicated his life to helping all veterans and their families. We all love and have the highest respect for him. Please read the letter below.
Jack passed away in 2006. Jack and Sensei Guinee grew up as the best of friends.He was courageous as a young man, and as a soldier.
He served in Viet Nam in 1969.
This Was Traced off of the Viet Nam Vets Wall In Washington D C. Joseph(Juice)Ficara was also a best friend of Sensei Guinee.
He was killed in combat in 1969 serving on the DMZ where Sensei Guinee also fought at the same time . Juice was a Machine Gunner. His unit was 2/9 Echo Co. His picture and letters while in Viet Nam Will follow.
